How do I get help files for libre 7.1.5.2

how do I get help files for libre 7.1.5.2 I can not believe the amount of stress I got all because this office package does not come with help files anymore.I tried to log on and I got a SAML logon error and then there was more

Now it says I must choose at least 1 tag, Now all I work out is were the tag is and what it is
[edit addon Oh I see now, the last forum I was at they had differant catergoys]

Simple in principle, if you know how .

Have a look at: Download LibreOffice ″Helppack″

Download here for Windows: https://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/7.1.5/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_7.1.5_Win_x64_helppack_en-GB.msi

file:///C:/Program%20Files/LibreOffice/help/en-US/…

That’s right. Offline help has been offered in the browser for some time now. The first part “file:///C:/…” already shows you that the help is available on your drive.

Maybe this has confused you a bit.

Thankyou very much Hrbrgr for your fast help.
it still does the same it goes off to file:///C:/Program%20Files/LibreOffice/help/en-US/text/shared/05/new_help.html?System=WIN&DbPAR=CALC&HID=.uno:HelpIndex#bm_id3806162

I need a rest I am getting a headache now, why make thing easy when is more fun to stress people out

all I wanted was a line break in a cell of a spreadsheet the internet search engine asnwer was to do a “Alt” & “enter” but it does not help the curser goes to the cell below it

[edit add on in bold]

You asked an opening question, which I have only commented on so far.
Why do you write more questions in answer subjects? These are no answers to your question.

This really does not make sense.

This page here is a question / answer page (QA), so one question and in addition possibly comments and answers (Solutions).

OK I still have not fixed the hlep files so that is a miss.tree

But I have found a answer to get a line break into the spreadsheet cell
1st you double click the cell, that should put the cursor into the cell.
2nd you put the cursor next to where you want the line break, then you do “Ctrl” & "Enter"
NOT the “Alt” & “Enter” that that other software uses.

All I wanted to do Hrbrgr was to fix up the help files I still can not do that because I get the same results as what I got right on square one, the problem I had to start with why I needed the help files I found the answer.

I still can not get the help files to work, I never used to have a issue with getting the help files, apart from some of the help was useless but since I updated to a newer version of Libre the help files do not work, I got a headache out of this, it would be good to get the answer how to get the help files to work as when I followed your first answer it did not work

[edit but thank you for your answer Hrbrgr your answer worked, but the end result was not what works]

Has the help files gone strange and now when you go to help it goes to

file:///C:/Program%20Files/LibreOffice/help/en-US/text/shared/05/new_help.html?System=WIN&DbPAR=WRITER&HID=.uno:HelpIndex#bm_id3806162.

You read the comments, but don’t listen. You also continue to add comments as answers despite being asked not to.
C:/ refers to a file on your computer. You have installed help and it is local to your computer. If you don’t believe it then put your computer in flight mode or pull out the network cable and access help.

If your browser opens an URL starting with file:/// it opens a file on your local disk.
