How do I import to Base from Calc

I’ve looked through al the menus but can’t find how to import calc to base

This may depend upon what you are doing such as creating or appending to tables, the type of data or even at times which database is in use.

There are many different examples posted throughout this site. Here is one appending data → How do I append a calc spreadsheet to a base table?

For more information, please see the LibreOffice documentation → LibreOffice Base Guide. In the Base guide, look in Chapter 3 Tables under the section of Importing data from other sources.

You may find the following useful… tutorial on moving thing to (and from) Base. It is somewhat dated in places, but the general approaches remain valid.
