I’m trying Impress for the first time (LibreOffice version 7.6.5.2). The online documentation says I can change the color of a slide by going to FORMAT - AREA, but I don’t see that option under FORMAT. I do see AREA under FORMAT - TEXT BOX AND SHAPE, but I want to change the color of the entire slide, not just a text box. What am I missing?
To change the background colour of a single slide, select the slide and in the menu click Slide > Slide Properties > Background and select a colour or other background.
To set the colour of all slides click View > Master slide then in the menu click Slide > Slide Properties > Background and select a colour or other background. To return to normal view click View > Normal
