How do I set creation and modification dates automatically in my table rows?

Hi All,

I’ve got a table with two date fields,
Record Creation Date
Record Update Date

How do I get them to auto-populate i.e. the Creation date should be populated only when the record is created, the Update date should be altered whenever the record is saved.
