How do I set tabs in a table

I have a table set with two columns. I need to set 5 tabs in this table of 2 columns. How is this done?

  • Select a cell
  • Choose menu Format - Paragraph… - Tabs tab
  • Set your tabs, and OK
  • Select all cells
  • Choose menu Edit - Repeat: Apply Attributes (Ctrl+Shift+Y)

To add tabs in a cell, press Ctrl+Tab (or Alt+Tab). See LibreOffice Help on Shortcut Keys for Tables in LibreOffice Writer.

Tested with LibreOffice 7.0.6.2 (x64); OS: Windows 10.0.

Check the mark (Answer markCorrect answer mark) to the left of the answer that solves your question (it may take a little while until it turns green).

And much better: make your settings into a custom paragraph style and apply this style to the relevant paragraphs in the cell.
