I want to fill a text box with a solid black. Tried properties, Frame isn’t an option for me. I can fill the background through format > page style. But that dosen’t work for a text box. Any ideas?
Properties - Right click > Area
Reopen your question to improve it: click on … below it, then on the “pencil” icon. You can now edit it.
Explain what you want to achieve: what is your “text bo” used for? What is its logical relationship with the text?
Usually text boxes are a bad idea because they don’t interact smoothly with your text. It is much better to use other tools or features.
Don’t forget to mention OS name, LO version and save format. Be aware that most advices, solutions or tricks are reliable and stable only in .odt format.
