How does styles autofit size and position of images?

Hello, I have tried Insert/frames and frame styles but not figured out that: I want a style, or things like style once toggled

1 No matter the current status of the image(change the size by other styles etc, but I know direct formatting has higher priority so I assume direct formatting are cleared) the image goes back to original height/width ratio. If the image is too big and then it exceeds the border of page/tables, it will autofit itself to the 100% of height or 100% of width wisely.

2 If the image is small, then it autofits itself to enlarge itself to 100% wisely

3 if the image is in a table, the image does not change the size of table, but the manually change of table(for example drag the border of table) can autofit the image, and the image should be fully displayed e.g. it keeps 100% height or width

In fact if I insert a image in the table the default size is autofited but once I drag the table things go mass

You can use high tech such as frames, macros etc I just want it look good by eyes.

Never use unoptimized images in an office document. Always optimize the images BEFORE you insert them into a document. Use third party image editor/manager softwares for this task. Set the proper physical size, resolution, color depth and the file type to the optimal value. The too big images - what you want to use in a reduced size in a document - will slowener the LibreOffice.

There is an extension in LibreOffice that might help you. I have not tried it so cannot say how well it works.

There was no confirmation of feasibility or otherwise. To be honest, I couldn’t quite understand precisely what you wanted to do.

The extension could well be what you were looking for but I am not sure.

It is good practice to size and prepare images in a graphics editor before inserting because word processors are not specialist image editors. Also oversized images slow down documents but do not provide any benefit of increased resolution especially if they exceed printer capability.
