How to activate guides or grid lines in Impress?

Hi,

Can someone tell me how to activate guide or grid lines in Libre Impress?
My Libreoffice version is 7.2.1.2 (x64).

  • Grid - Click View > Grid and helplines > Display Grid (when it is on, it is highlighted).
    Or click the Display Grid icon
    • You can change the settings for the Grid in Tools > Options > LibreOffice Impress > Grid
    • If the grid is hard to see on your computer you can make it darker in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Application Colours > Drawing / Presentation > Grid and change from Automatic to black. See also How do i change the grid line color in draw?
  • Guides - Click View > Rulers (Ctrl+Shift+R), then drag guidelines down or across from rulers

It’s hard to see the grids although I already changed colour to dark.
Any suggestion??
