How to add a field between other fields

I have already created my fields and forms but would like to add another field in between other fields. I do not want to add a field at the end of all the other fields.
Can someone show me how to do this. I researched as much as I can and found NO reference to adding a field in between other fields.

Are you creating a form or a “standard” document where you insert “dynamic” data with fields, such as page number, chapter number or cross-reference?

In the latter case, put your cursor before the first field or after the last field. Use the “arrow keys” to move the cursor between the fields and Insert>Field>…

When I wish to put a word between other words, I place the cursor between this words and start typing.

To put a field between fields, I’d try to put my cursor between the fields, then use Insert field from the menu (or drag it there from Data-Sources).

To help you see the fields, turn on View | Field Shadings or Ctrl+F8
