I’m on a Dell laptop, Windows 10, using Writer 7.5.0.3.
I no longer have Table of Contents under Insert, either in the main Insert section or in the right side Insert additions. I can’t find it anywhere. Is there another way to add one?
PS: I had to download and install version 7.5 three times before any of the applications would open. Am I simply missing part of Writer?
Do you mean submenu for Insert>TOC & Index is missing?
I’m not sure what you mean by submenu. Here’s what’s under my Insert tab: TOC isn’t there, nor under any of the drop arrows.
You have configured your UI for a dreaded ribbon interface. Revert to standard UI and check the Insert menu.
I changed my UI (7.4.5.1) for Tabbed and there is no command under Insert for a TOC. You had probably customised the UI (though I seem to have read it is not customisable).
