How to add more font color icons to toolbar?

Hi,

When I type I often need to change color to part of my text.
I would like to set in the toolbar several font color icons. I Kid of made it :

But when I restart LibreOffice Writer I get all colors reset to red:

Any idea on how I could achieve this ?
Thank you

The styles are the most valuable feature of the LibreOffice.
Use the Styles instead of the direct (manual) formatting method.

Then you nor need those icons.

ok, I can consider Styles, I never used them. But before i start this way, will then be possible to have different colored icons in the toolbar to select those styles ? Also, consider coloring will be on a word (or a few word) level, so small chunks are going to be colored.

When using styles, you must distinguish between paragraph styles and character styles.
You can create a paragraph style for each color.
Then place the cursor in a paragraph and double-click the paragraph style with the desired color, done.
In the same way, use the character styles (that you have created) with different colors. You place the cursor in a word or select several words and then double-click the desired character style.

This does not give you additional icons in the toolbar. The procedure is too simple to make an unnecessary effort with symbols.

If you are starting from scratch, you should create your desired style sheets in a blank document.
Then save the document as a document template.
This way you can use all new documents on this basis.

And remember, when working with style sheets, the “Sidebar|Styles” ( F11 ) is your friend.

ok, i am going to try this way, double click + select style seems fit to replace icons. I will let you known.
thank you !
