How to change the default text size in Draw 7.2

Running LibreOffice Draw 7,2 on Linux Mint. The default text size in Draw 7.2 is 24. How do I change that to 14 so it doesn’t go back to 24 when I close Draw?

Open a new Drawing, open the Side bar and click the styles icon to open the Styles pane. Right-click on Default Drawing Style and select Modify
DefaultDrawingModify

In the dialogue box that opens, select the tab Font and change size to 14. OK

Click File > Templates > Save as Template. In the dialogue box that opens enter a name for your new style, select a Template Category, tick the box Set as default template and click Save.
DefaultTemplateSet

In a new Draw document, the font size will be 14pt.

In the future you might decide you don’t want the template as default anymore. In that case click File > Templates > Manage templates, right-click on your template (it will have a green tick to show it is default) and click Reset Default. Either that or choose another template to be default.
