Yes, of course you can copy arbitrary text into a multi-line text box that is linked to a big enough text column.
When I copy from a website, it will have formatting, perhaps come from a table etc., Will that all be converted to just the text alone, or will the formatting also be copied over
A simple database stores raw data with no text formatting attributes unless you store the HTML source of a web page. You may store hyperlinks to the websites. Base does not support hyperlinks directly but with a simple macro it is possible to open hyperlinks by means of a push button.
