How to delete annotation in draw...?

I can’t delete the annotation (or maybe it’s a comment) in my .odg file.
When I go to the Navigator, I see an element called “Annotation1” but I can’t delete it regardless of how I try: hitting the “Delete” key, right-clicking on it (no menu appears), etc…

See the referenced screen grab to see the little orange box with a “1”

Looks like a corrupt file. Please upload it for better examining.

Could you please tell me how to delete all personal information from the file properties prior to uploading?

This is a annotation.
1 - Clic on the 1
2 - Right clic on the area of the comment
3 - Select Delete annotation in the menu

It doesn’t work. Nothing appears when I right-click on the comment area.

If I go to the Navigator pane on the right, I see an entry “Annotation” for that one annotation. But I cannot delete it as I described in my original post. See the attached screen grab.

Annotation = Comment (some times )

No such menu appears when I right-click the text area… I only see a one-item menu with the menu item “Alt Text…”

Have you click on the comment brand in the drawing area to show the comment edition area and then click with the right button ?

  • Another way to delete the comment is to select the annotation in the navigator and push the Delete key.

See my original post. I cannot delete from the Navigator.

What is a “comment brand”? There is no category “Comment” in the Navigator pane.

May be some problem with your system or your file
I think It is not the same file as the one you have sent as an example

  • I can delete the comment in the draw (or annotation in navigator) using any of the two metods .

This is not a solution specialised on the originally posted issue, and I experimented first time with the special kind of annotations available in Draw finding that there seem to be bugs, but mainly enforcing my judgement that these objects are unhandy.
Thus my suggestions are more general to the effect that such Draw-annotations be better completely replaced by shapes which have a specialised layer assigned to them.
Any details you will better understand if you play with the attached example. First of all you need to accept that layers in Draw not are containers, but a means to manage some shape properties across pages in a handy way. The layer is assigned to the shape. it’s not reversely despite the fact that there often is talked wrongly of shapes “belonging to” a layer.
