Sometimes I see a red warning “Offline editing” (or something like that) under the question/answer preview while typing a post. I may have hit a key combination. If I press Reply, my post is shown gray and not recorded.
If I am careful enough, I copy my post and open a new comment/answer to paste. But, more than often, I forget to do this and am doomed to retype everything.
In case this is caused by a spurious key combination on my part, which is it (toggling action) or which is the shortcut to reenable online editing?

Given the frequency with which I have to verify that I am not a bot and the fact the offline editing seems to have increased since the bot protection (Anibus?) was implemented, I guess we just manage to exceed/cross-over the time between checks. My workarounds are the same as yours with occasional re-typing.
