I have this audio object in a presentation.
When I right click it there is no option to save it like for images.
How can I get the audio file from the presentation?

If the media file is Embedded (but it is not Linked) in your file, then you can mine out it from the ZIP archive. (The ODF type files (,odt, .ods, .odg, .odp) are Zip archives really. Just rename a copy of your file to .zip extension, and you will able to browse the content of it.
