How to get rid of that blue squiggly line

Hi there,

Just adjusting to Libre Office - it looks great! Thanks for the great work in developing this and supporting such a great community.

Can I please ask how to remove this blue squiggly line separating pages?

I have tried to google and come up with no good responses - it seems to only have references to previous versions.

Please let me know if I’ve misunderstood something obvious!

It looks like a manual page break that they inserted using Ctrl+Enter.

This dashed blue line is a reminder/hint you have a manual page break preceding the first paragraph in the page.

Since this hint gives you very important information about your document content, Writer doesn’t allow it to be hidden. Anyway, it doesn’t print.

When asking here, always mention OS name, exact LO version and save format. Most solutions are only stable with native format .odt.

Your screenshot shows you have chosen a M$ Word-like ribbon/tabbed UI. I recommend you stay with LO “standard” UI and learn how to use styles (download the Writer Guide). Tabbed UI alas encourages use of direct formatting which sooner or later drops you into trouble on maintained documents.
