How to move an image inside table cell by a small amount, using keybinds?

Usually you can move images using arrow keys, and shift+arrows will move them by a centimeter, alt+arrows by 2 millimeters. But when the image is inside a table, shift+arrows work as before, but alt+arrows changes the size of the cell instead, and i did not find a way to rebind or change that behavior. Any tips? Thanks!

For me, if the image is anchored To Character and the object is selected, then the Alt+Arrow keys work. If I use the Alt+Up (or down) the image can jump out of the table and jump into the neighbouring cell.
.
For images inside tables, I normally anchor As Character and apply a centred paragraph style.

If you are looking for image location stability, don’t move them with arrow keys or mouse. This immediately creates a pernicious form of direct formatting which wipes out any setting you could have chosen in the properties. Frames (images are frames) are extremely sensitive to direct formatting (DF) and this frame DF can’t be cleared like the one affecting text. The more you try to fix it, the more degraded the situation becomes.

If you feel brave, apply an adequate frame style onto your image. But frame styles are very difficult to design.

In addition frames and tables don’t “interfere” between each other like image and text in the main flow, needing adjustments if you happen to change the table geometry or edit your text within the table.

The simplest and most reasonable solution is suggested by @EarnestAl: anchor your images As character so that you manage them as text.
