How to open a hyperlink on the presentation's screen not the presenter's laptop

I have a hyperlink in a presentation and am using two monitors. When I click on a hyperlink it opens on the presenter’s screen instead of the presentation’s screen. The hyperlinks are to external web pages, not local content. I want the browser to open on the presentation monitor to show the web page.

I have searched this topic but can’t find any reference to how to do this.

I want my presentation to show on a big screen (and browser window to show there) while I operate from the presenter console with notes showing on my laptop.

What am I missing? Impress 7.4.5.1

In the Slide Show>Presentation Settings menu, select a different monitor.

I was not clear in my original question. The hyperlinks are to external web pages, not local content. I want the browser to open on the presentation monitor to show the web page. I’ll edit that now.

In “Slide Show Settings,” under “Multiple Displays” I have “Presentation display” set to “Display 2 (external)”

But when I click on a hyperlink the browser opens on the laptop and not the external monitor. Also, I am clicking on the hyperlink in the external monitor, not the laptop.

This is how it works for me:

88887 Presentation Settings

YouTube-Video

Version: 7.5.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: fcbaee479e84c6cd81291587d2ee68cba099e129
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE
Calc: CL threaded

In Windows 11:
Before the presentation move the browser to the second monitor, position and size it as required (close it if you don’t want it visible). When the browser is called it will open in the same position and size as it was last time it was opened closed. The browser operates according to its own settings.
I cannot test with projector, however Windows doesn’t seem to differentiate between monitor and projector.

Thanks! Windows 10 here and it works the same, just put the open browser on the presentation screen before starting the presentation and it pops up when a URL is clicked – quickly if clicked on the presentation screen, slowly if clicked on the current slide in the control screen. Alt-Tab back to the presentation.

Ok but Screen 1 is my laptop, so that doesn’t work for me. EarnestAI’s fix worked just fine. Thanks for trying to help me, I really appreciate your effort.
