How to print a large banner on several pages

Set the page size to the banner dimensions you need.
Menu selection Page - Properties
Select the Page tab
Enter measurements for width and height
OK
Create your banner design
Print the banner over several pages
Menu selection File - Print
In the General tab, make sure you have the correct printer selected.
In the LibreOffice Draw tab, select to distribute over several pages.

I had found that option, but it seems to be broken (LO 6.4.4.2 on Linux Mint). It prints on several pages, but repeating parts of the image, without achieving the complete banner.

The usual workaround when there is trouble with rendering is to export to a pdf file and use a pdf viewer for final output. A suitable viewer should be available for Ubuntu/Mint.
