Your operating system might have a function to assist. Look in your operating system admin for settings related to ease of access, accessibility, etc
Text to speech is not built-in to LibreOffice. The extension centre has a couple of extensions to assist in aiding the text to speech process. I briefly tested the Read text extension in Windows a while ago and it connected with the Windows text to speech OK
Read Text Extension uses an external program or a web service to read text. Read the selection with Calc, Draw, Impress, Web Writer and Writer.
odt2daisy converts OpenDocument Text (ODT) to digital talking books in the DAISY format (DAISY 2.02, DAISY 3.0 XML and Full DAISY 3.0). The extension supports Mathematical Markup Language (MathML) and multilingual documents.
NVDA screen reader might be an option; they seem to be interested in compatibility with LibreOffice.
