Libre Office chart legend does not allow deleting a text from the Legend box (both Windows and Mac allow this feature). Deleting the trendline reference removes the trendline itself. I want to keep the trendline, but remove the trendline (line and name) from the Legend box. Any suggestion?
I’ll be honest, I don’t see how you are removing the line itself from the Legend in Excel. You can set the name to nothing, but the line seems to stick there. Let me know how if you can.
But, back to LO. If this is a one-of scenario, don’t lose track of the simple fixes, like inserting a white, no-line rectangle over the offending legend entry.
You can set a space as name, but the line will remain.
