I have a spreadsheet that has various cell colours.
I would like to know how to select all cells of a certain colour.
(in excel it is done with filtering…I can’t see how to achieve this in Libre office calc)

Not at all by means of implemented functionality. Write a macro. But as usual my query related to this ever repeating question is: You probably have colored the cells following some rules (conditions) - so why do you want the color as selection rule, if there is a condition, which could be used to select the same (colored) cells?
