Can someone share, how to set up a rule that when I write “et al.” the next word is not capitalized. For example, et al. reported and not et al. Reported
You have two possibilities:
-
Press
Ctrl
+Z
immediately after capitalization to cancel it. -
Add an exception in
Tools
>AutoCorrect
>AutoCorrect Options
,Exceptions
tab.Note you can only add al. and not et al. (no space allowed inside “words”). If this makes a difference for you, fallback to the first method.
