I have a main libre office page, where all documents are displayed in no particular order. There is no way to sort them, or have them appear just by their tiltles.
Upper left of page says: file, tools, help
next line says open files, then remote files…
I’d like to be able to sort these, either alphabetically, or by date. But none of the menus have that option.

There is an order - that’s why the list is called “Recent Documents”. So the date and time of their respective last use (opening) defines the rank where a document appears (And no - you can’t order by any other criteria)

there is no way to sort 'em (of course there is a file which could be manipulated, but that’s a hack and prone to errors, so I wouldn’t recommend that. And as soon as you open/create the next document the natural order of the list starts to reestablish).
