CALC sheet (LO7.5)
copied Hyperlink in a cell
hover over link and textbox displayed showing the URL
-CLICK the on link and nothing happens.

Maybe you are missing [Ctrl+Click] not only Click

Nope, r-click and -click both do the same thing as above.
I also have another CALC file w/ hyperlinks and that acts the same way.

Gotta be something in the settings, but I’m at a loss as to what !

Please attach a sample file with the issue.

Let me know if this doesn’t work.

Left click while pressing [Ctrl] key, works fine for me with Firefox and Chrome, with the links in your file.

I’m not in front of a computer right now but I think I recall there is a setting in Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Security in a sub category like Options or something in which you can turn off the requirement for Ctrl+Click so you just need Click.
I guess you did it for your other computer previously

I have 2 browsers installed, Firefox and Chromium.
A setting in my system panel defines which one is the default. Depending on this system wide setting, a hyperlink is opened with either one of the two.
On a windows box I would right-click the [Start] button, choose “Settings” and then search for “default applications”.

Doesn’t work on my big SS or the sample SS I sent to you …

Set everything to CHROME as default … still didn’twork.

On WIndows you may have to reboot (or log off, log on) before the changed setting becomes reality. On my system it works this way. There is one default application for https: for mailto: for audio, video and for pictures.

Thanks for the re-boot idea …
I’ll have to do that this PM.

Reboot did the trick …
