When I’m in presentation mode and click on a hyperlink to another slide in the same document, impress simply exits “view slideshow” mode without going to the hyperlinked slide. I’m not sure what to do.
Does it work correctly in LibreOffice safe mode (Help > Restart in safe mode > Continue in safe mode)?
If it works OK in safe mode, try going to Tools > Options > LibreOffice > View and unticking Use Skia for all rendering, there might be some sort of graphics issue.
If it doesn’t work in Safe Mode then there might be a problem with the link. If you Ctrl+click the link in non-slideshow mode, does the link work correctly?
How do you have entered the link? The correct way would be: Set cursor, where the hyperlink should be. Press Ctrl+K to open the Hyperlink dialog. In the left part of that dialog select item Document. In the right part click on the icon on the ride side of the Target field. Select the slide and click on Apply. OK.
Depending on your needs, an interaction on a shape might work for you as alternative.
