I am new. All my paragraph text appears on the extreme Left. How can I change it to normal letter format?
Can you supply a small sample document? Otherwise you could try some of these
- Select your text and chick Format - Clear direct formatting (Ctrl+M).
I guess that you have a large right indent set in your text. - Click on the text, press Ctrl+1 then press Ctrl+0 . Going through two paragraph style changes removes most direct formatting and Ctrl+0 sets it to Body Text which is what the body of your document should be using.
- It could instead be an extremely wide right margin in the page setting
- Maybe everything is in a very narrow table…
You could have inadvertently requested requested right alignment or your document language is set to Arabic or Hebrew (right-to-left languages). It is very hard to tel without any technical inforation (OS name, exact LO version, save format and locale).
