I cannot seem to delete an old print range. I can define a new one on top, but the other remains.
The menu Format>Print Ranges has 4 submenues:
- âDefineâ defines the current selection (cell, range or multiple ranges)
- âAddâ adds the current selection to the existing one.
- âEditâ opens a dialog to edit the range address(es)
- âClearâ clears any range(s).
Iâm afraid none of that works, so Iâm possibly looking at a bug.
You are looking at something that is not reproducible by anybody else.
⌠so could you please upload your file?
Maybe the forum members will be able to fix it.
I would like to upload the file, but Iâm not sure where to do that within this thread??
TEST PIECE 1.xlsx (7.9 KB)
Hopefully you will see the file I am having trouble with. Note that it is converted to xlsx. It still doesnât work if I convert it back to ODS. Many thanks for looking
So:
- Open your file.
- Menu Format / Print Ranges / Edit. We see
Print Range
:- user defined -
:$A$1:$F$81
. - Menu Format / Print Ranges / Clear.
- Menu Format / Print Ranges / Edit. We see
Print Range
:- entire sheet -
.
The same effect if your file is saved in .ods format.
Iâm afraid just doing the normal âclearâ and âeditâ etc doesnât work. I have tried these things.
Your file properties list the LO version:
LibreOffice/7.4.2.3$MacOSX_X86_64 .
I tested in LibreOffice/7.4.2.3 Win10 version.
Letâs hope someone can check the file in your configuration.
Just in case, check again in safe mode (Menu Help / Restart in Safe Mode).
