I am trying to share a calc spreadsheet with other users, but I feel like I am missing something big here in trying to do this. Can we each have a native version on our desktops, and if so, how does libreoffice recognize we are working on the same document? At present, my shared spreadsheet is not recognizing any other users. Am I missing something basic that needs to be done so that these remote spreadsheets are linked to eachother? The only instruction I’ve seen says you need to set it up for sharing and add yourself in the ‘user’ field within preferences. I’ve done both, but it’s not working nor does it make sense to me how these spreadsheets will connect.
