I do not see these sections at all. What do I do now? I really want to change my paper size.
You dont see the file main menu with File Edit View Insert Format?
Right click → Page style…
There are preset options pertaining to various standards, such as A4, A3, etc.
Save / backup your work as a different file before testing options which have may have big impacts.
If you are after the styles pane, which includes paragraph, character, page, table and list styles, the default keyboard shortcut / hotkey is F11.
In this site, a notation like Format>Style means

Formatis the name of a drop-down menu in the menu bar -
Styleis an item in the selected menu - etc.
If you don’t see the menu bar, you may have customised your user interface (UI) to not display it or chosen a theme without a menu bar.
Help procedures are described in out-of-the-box uncustomised interface (because possibilities are nearly infinite). If you’re a newbie, it is recommended to use the unmodified UI until you are familiar enough with Writer (or LO in general).
