I got this code when trying to open a .doc file

Tried to open a simple .doc file in Libre, it gives me the error 0x8007016A The cloud file provider is not running.

How to I fix this, I thought Libre was supposed to open Windows documents with no problems?

The web search tells that “0x8007016A The cloud file provider is not running” is not something LibreOffice tells, but rather a problem in your cloud storage (OneDrive?).

Thus, download the file from the cloud storage to your hard drive and edit.
