I saved my document but it is not saved

Last night I finished my work and saved it by clicking the button in the left and the document was saved as the stick was fulled by green. When I closed the document, I realised that it was not saved and I Can’t find the work anywhere in my computer. Do you know any possible sollution to recover it or where could I find it? Thank you. I use the version of 4.2. Born my computer’s and Office program’s language is english

I was working with a document, transferring it from Word to Libre office. When it asked if I wanted to save as an ODT document, over the document that already existed with that name, I thought I was just replacing the Word document with the ODT. But in another folder, there was a document with the same name, and it saved over THAT one. Is there any way I can recover the document from the other folder that I did not mean to erase??
