I uninstalled everything and reinstalled it. The problem persists. What’s next?
What OS are you using? Look in the task manager - are there any hung soffice.bin processes? Perhaps a simple restart of the computer will fix this problem
TYVM for your help. My OS is Windows 10 Pro version 2004. This morning I signed in as Administrator, uninstalled LibreOffice 7.0.2.2, and looked at all folders on hard drive (C:/) of my MS Surface Pro 2 PC. I found an old file folder for LibreOffice in Programs (x86). I deleted it and reinstalled LibreOffice 7.0.2.2. It works perfectly!

Might also be due to use of OpenCL. You may try to inactivate it in Tools > Options…
