I want to control the colors of lines on graphs. Calc is automatically selecting colors that I do not want

The program automatically changes the colors on my graphs. I want to use red, green, blue. If I change one line to blue, one of the other lines goes brown or some other random color. How do I get control of color selections?

One solution is to just do the graph again. I think there is a problem with selecting anything in the “color template” tab. Lesson: stay away from the “color template” tab.

Create a palette of colours for your charts and apply that in Tools > Options > Charts > Default Colours. See Help Default colours

Also Create a new colour palette

Thanks very much Wolfgang. But here is the problem:

Going to Tools > Options > Charts > Default Colours does not deselect the Color Palette selection under “Colorful”.
I have since found out that I can deselect it closing the file and then reopening it. The “reset” button does nothing.
