Images only appear as linked in Writer 6.4.6.2

This always happens, even when I use the Insert Image menu item. The link box is NOT checked, and Properties don’t show any linked boxes checked.

… and Right click on the image -> Properties... -> Tab: Images -> Section: Link shows a File name (Can’t reproduce on my LibreOffice Version 6.4.6.2 on OpenSUSE 15.2 using TDF packages)?
