Import dBase Files works on LO 7.6.2.1, but not on LO 24.2.5.2?

My problem short: Out of several reasons I have to import (regulary) some dBase-dbf-Files produced by FoxBASE+ 2.00 (whitch was a dBase-Clone out of 1987) into LibreOffice Calc (System is a 14" (2021) MacBook Pro running MacOS Sequoia 15.0). If I use LibreOffice 7.6.2.1 (AARCH64) for this task on this system, everything goes fine. Update to LibreOffice 24.2.5.2 (AARCH64) brings - after the selection of the character set on the import screen - the Error-Message „Read error. Unable to connect to the file.“ to the screen. Is it a bug, that will be fixed?

Update to LO 24.8.2 fixed the problem for me.
