Imported SVG from MuseScore Studio changes appearance after breaking it in Draw/Impress

Import an SVG from MuseScore Studio in LibreOffice 25.8.3 (Writer/Impress). It should look normally. After using the break function, the same image looks bolder and kind of rasterized. This was not the case in LibreOffice 25.2.

I am not sure if this problem is related. Elements are not missing after breaking.

If you need to break apart svg I suggest that you use Inkscape. It will keep sub groups if wanted and just make everything easier.

Thank you for your advice. I want to make elements of the score appear by clicking in Impress. This is why I need to break the SVG into parts. It is working in LO 25.8. The output is just not as good as is it was in earlier editions.

There are lines applied to some curves—to see, add a white color area to the the G cleff (?).

The lines thickness is doubled (a bug). So, if do you double the image size, the ratio line-thickness/image-size will match again.

As a approximated workaround, you can halve the image size, break, then resize to actual size.

Thank you. Now I understand the problem. When I select all elements except the staff and the bar lines and change the line to none, the rasterized look disappears. LO seems to add these lines. I can’t see them when I open the SVG in Inkscape.

Look at the left of the status bar: you will see “Stroke None” (that means: there is no border) and a number that means: there is. :-\

Or maybe, the lines are there, and LibreOffice don’t know how to handle them.

You are right! But why does the image look so different then? Because of the doubled line thickness?
