Impossible d'établir la connexion à la source de données « MaBase »

J’utilise LO 26.8.03
Depuis quelques jours je n’arrive plus à ouvrir une Base avec le message d’erreur :
firebird_sdbc error:
*Use of database at location C:\USERS\UTILISATEUR\APPDATA\LOCAL\TEMP\LU158921610.TMP\LU158921615.TMP\LU158921616.TMP\FIREBIRD.FDB is not allowed by server configuration
caused by
‘isc_create_database’

Je n’ai aucun PB avec la dernière version Portable (sauf quelques difficultés avec le Menu Principal que je place à l’ouverture de toutes mes BDs).
J’ai déjà eu ce PB il y a plusieurs mois avec une version LO 25. Je suis alors passé à la version 26.8 et tout a bien fonctionné jusqu’à ce nouveau problème.
C’est probablement dû 'installation sous Windows 11 (et ses mises à jours) mais je ns sais pas le résoudre !

I do use LO 26.8.0.3.
It happened suddenly, all was fine till this week !!!
Can this problem come from Windows ???

I would try to rename the user profile for testing:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile
Renaming the profile will start LO with default settings.
I couldn’t test it here, because the bug doesn’t appear on my system (Linux).

I have tried to start LO with default settings but the problem still remains.
I have uninstalled LO 26.8 and erased all files corresponding to this soft.
Then, after re-installing LO 26.8 the same problem appears:

*Use of database at location C:\USERS\UTILISATEUR\APPDATA\LOCAL\TEMP\LU158921610.TMP\LU158921615.TMP\LU158921616.TMP\FIREBIRD.FDB is not allowed by server configuration

Firebird seems implied ?!

With portable LO25.8.4 everything works fine

So do this:

  • Add a comment to one of the bugs. Write down the bug really appears in LO 26.8.0.3 and isn’t fixed since LO 26.8.0.2.
  • Downgrade to the version 26.2.4.2. You could get all Versions of LO here: Index of /libreoffice/old

Summary of my tests
PC with Windows 11
All my Bases are created with LO/Firebird

1- Working with LO 26.8.0.3
Opening LO 26.8.0.3 is OK
Creation of a base with HQLBD is OK
Creation of a base with Firebird : the file is created
Opening the file : OK
Impossible to work :

Use of database at location C:\USERS\UTILISATEUR\APPDATA\LOCAL\TEMP\LU23992BNXSV.TMP\LU23992BNXTA.TMP\LU23992BNXTG.TMP\FIREBIRD.FDB is not allowed by server configuration

I deduce from this first test that Firebird is not accepted !!!

2-Working with LO 26.2.5.2 (installation of this version after de-installing the preceeding one)
Creation of a base with Firebird : the file is created
Opening the file : OK
Impossible to work :

Same problem

3-Working with LO Portable-26.2.4.2 (PortableApps)
I can create a simple base with firebird
I can open my bases but with some Macros problems
But Firebird seems to be OK

4- Working with LO Portable-25.8.4
I can open my bases which work correctly

Conclusion

What I can’t understand is wy suddenly Firebird was not accepted ???!!!
This also occured last year with the previous LO version.
Could it be caused by a Windows upgrade ?
Does this kind of problems also occurs ubder Linux systems ?

This is a bug, which first appeared in LO 26.2.5 Has nothing to do with special configuration of your Windows system. Firebird database will be extracted from the Base file to the path you get in the error. And this path isn’t allowed by a server configuration inside LO. LO doesn’t allow to use Firebird with the versions you tested.
Have reopened bug 172935.

So, today 2026-09-09, LO 26 Base does not allow Firebird usage?

It is a bug of LO together with Windows. The described behavior is like for external Firebird databases before - which should be solved with LO 26.8.0.3. But the path @RogerJC will get (and which is written down in bug 173363 also) is the path for the extracted Firebird database, which is internal Firebird database.

Was able to create an external .FDB, and connect to of course, in this Windows machine:
Version: 26.2.1.2 (X86_64)
OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26200); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
FirebirdExternal

It looks complicated to me but I will try this procedure…
