Impress - can't turn off shadows

I’m using Impress 7.2.2.2.
Objects show shadowing.
I right click > edit style > shadows > turn off.
Nothing changes.
I check again, right click > edit style > shadows are turned off

Please upload a sample file here, in which the problem is present.

Select your file and click the Upload button.

And please name your operating system. Thank you.

I don’t see any three dots. Nevertheless, here it goes: a.odp (33.8 KB)
OS: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS

This is another typical example. I assume that you have taken the image from a MS-Office file (or other source). There is always the danger that formatting is not taken over according to the ODF standard.

Workaround possibilities:

  1. select image and choose Format>Delete direct formatting in the menu.

  2. select image and in the sidebar at Properties ( Ctrl + F5 ) uncheck “Shadow”.

Build ID: 27d75539669ac387bb498e35313b970b7fe9c4f9
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win

  1. Select image and choose menu Format - Shadow.

Ctrl+Shift+M is the same that Clear Direct Formatting.

Yes, the image was taken from a MS Office document.
All solutions work. Thanks to both of you!
