Impress: Could Slide Properties be added to a toolbar?

Currently it’s not possible to have a button for Slide Properties. Could one be added so one can click on a toolbar?

I don’t see Slide Properties as an available command. If you want a feature added, you should post an enhancement request, see How to Report a Bug for more detail.
I don’t think there is much difference between clicking an icon on a toolbar, and right-clicking on the slide and selecting Slide Properties (or using the Context key on the keyboard, or Alt+S then Alt+P). Much of the functionality of the dialogue box is in the Sidebar, and the settings are generally not something you would want to change after you had decided on the layout, especially if you are using a Master slide.

Hi EarnestAl, thanks for your reply. I apparently hadn’t tried right-clicking on the slide, but was selecting Slide/Properties from the top menu all the time. My impress files are frequently over 100 slides, even 200, and I do change them all the way through the creation process. I choose backgrounds, usually gradients, that have colors that match the text and help to convey the message, so the Slide Properties vary from section to section and from slide to slide. I use a Master slide, but I have to change the Properties for individual slides. Maybe no one else is doing what I do, but I am so grateful for Impress!!! Yes, I can use right-click from now on. Thanks again!
