Impress - "Mouse pointer as pen" - any way to change thicknesses?

I’m using the “mouse pointer as pen” option in Impress during presentations. However, there is an unusually large drop in thickness between “thin” and “very thin.” On my computer, the lines have the following thicknesses:

Very Thick: 22 pixels
Thick: 12 pixels
Normal: 9 pixels
Thin: 6 pixels
Very Thin: 1 pixel.

Thus, “very thin” is six times thinner than "thin!! It’s no thin as to be virtually worthless. None of the other adjacent line thicknesses differ by more that 50%. By this pattern, “very thin” should be about 3 pixels wide instead of 1.

Is there any way to change this?

I did not find a nice solution, but rescaling all the slides to be e.g. twice as large effectively halves all the pen widths, which in my case results in a good ‘very thin’ size for the ‘thin’ pen (the actual ‘very thin’ becomes almost invisible).
