Impress slide transition automatic preview causing crashes?

hello,

changing the variant of a slide transition had been causing impress to crash until i turned off automatic preview. not the end of the world, but i wonder if there is a way to fix this as it is quite a useful feature.

Please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode
