When I create a formula I would like to specify a cell by it’s relative position to another cell; ie: in C4 “C3+A4-B4” except that I would like to have C3 be a relative location in regards to C4…the precious row’s cell. The reason is that if I create a spreadsheet for income/expenses or check reconciliation the date’s differ from month-to-month & I would like to sort the rows by date & have the previous balance dependent upon the previous row. I think I should be able to do this but need some direction on the formula’s coding.
