In Excel I can have the mouse pointer indicate values on the graph when hovered over a point in the graph. how can I do this in Calc graphs?
When you have selected a chart type that shows data points (most do), hover over a data point and you will see the value(s) and category.
Double-click on the chart and then I think it happens.
That only brings up the name of the line in my line graph. It says: Data series ‘VALUE’ in my case. I would like to get the value of the point where the mouse is. ie from the y axis.
I agree. I’m using LibreOffice 7.2.4.1 on a new Macbook Pro (M1 Pro) and hovering over chart lines only shows the column name (e.g. Column B) or column title.
