In Calc, how do I expand cell-size to fill the sheet?

I highlight the table. I want to expand equally the size of each cell to fill a printed page to the margins, horizontally and vertically.

Erm… why don’t you use Writer then? It automatically prints content to margins. Are you sure you want to (mis|ab)use Calc for that? But maybe explain what exactly you want to achieve and why.

However, you can achieve that if you lookup the paper format size and subtract the margins, under File → Print Preview, click the Format Page icon, tab Page. Then exit the print preview, select your desired columns, right click on a column header, Column Width…, enter the calculated width. Then do the same for the rows, select, right click a row header, Row Height…, enter the calculated height.

In this case, since the cells each contain text, it would have been easier to create a table in Writer.

However, when creating a financial spreadsheet, it would be nice to have the ability to perfect the layout and formulae, then do something quick/easy such as applying a style that would “blow up” the cells’ dimensions the correct amount to fill the table to the printer margins horizontally, vertically or both - without having to do cell-size calculations by trial & error.

thanks!
