I am trying (desperately!) to write my first Macro…I am Ubuntu 23,04 and LO 7.5.4.2. If I open a new spreadsheet and clink of Insert>Control I do not get the options in the subsequent box greyed out. But If I try to do this with an already populated spreadsheet I get the subsequent box greyed out. Please, what am I doing wrong?
You must switch ON the Edit Mode of the Form control ToolBar first.
You can insert, delete, adjust, modify the Controls in the Edit Mode, and they works when the Edit Mode is OFF.
But the Form Control box does not contain an Edit mode selection. The spreadsheet, as a whole, is in Edit mode.
Sorry, the correct English name is: “Design Mode”
