Inserting text in landscape format into a portrait oriented page

I am working on a brochure which I intend to use as a mailer. What I want to do is put my return address into one flap of the brochure. I have tried using a text box and then rotating, but that has not worked. Any ideas?

You cannot put a field inside a text box so use a Frame. Insert > Frame > Frame interactively. Add your fields then select the frame, right-click it, select Properties > Options and under Text Direction, select Bottom-to-Top.

You can rotate a text box if it contains just text.
