Installed LO Offline help, but isn't working

I downloaded and installed the LO Offline help, but the Help doesn’t work. It keeps directing me to the Online help. The Install instructions are light on the installation directory.

This seems ambiguous to me. Should I leave the default path as the …\LibreOffice folder? Or, should I install in the …\LibreOffice\program\ folder? I have tried both, but neither installation location gives me a working Offline Help.

There’s already a “help” folder in the LO directory.

I tried the help.html and it gives the following result:

The index.html file takes me to the online help.

Either I’m misunderstanding something, or the help files are not in the correct location.

Maybe you have installed Help correctly, it will open in a browser except instead of the address beginning https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/ it will start with
file:///C:/Program%20Files/LibreOffice/help/

You have downloaded the USA Help Pack, if you have installed a GB version of LibreOffice then you will need a GB version of Help

You usually don’t change anything here unless you have special needs (for example moved your LibreOffice-install yourself).
But one can do, if one knows why/what to do/what to expect.

It appears that it did install correctly, as you indicated:
