Installer error no permission on program folder to install 5.1.6 over 5.1.3

windows 7 Pro SP1, Toshiba Satellite C55A, downloaded 5.6.1 on Nov 15, install has failed 3 times, on the same error (approx) “no permission to access …\LibreOffice 5\program. Log on as administrator or run go get one”. I AM the administrator. I have gone in and assigned full control to the adminstrator, system, creator owner, creator group. I am the same user that installed 5.1.3.

Best part is every time the install fails and it says it has made no changes, well, it actually has complete removed 5.1.3, so I have to use system restore to make my system usable again.

For weird that sounds, you need kill all the process related with your Brother Printer (not sure if happens with other printers). The Control Center (orange icon) and process seems handle a “read only” folder under Libre Office 5\program folder and don’t release properly.

This fixed the problem on my side. Close CC4 and that’s it. I was installing 6.4.6.2 and was getting Folder Access Denied too. I wasn’t able to take ownership or anything since it was locked.
